The story behind 310 Construction LLC.
Bobby Shaver started in construction as a teenager working summers, figuring out which trade was his. He chose electrical, earned his electronic engineering degree from Stanly Community College, and as a student helped design and build the school’s electrical test lab.
His first job out of school was with a contractor in Concord, NC. From there he moved into industrial work, site builds in plants across North and South Carolina, then spent the next several years as a full-time automation engineer.
Then twelve and a half years at Michelin as their site electrical and automation lead. VFDs, motor controls, PLCs, drives, database integrations, AI-assisted process work. He learned how to wire a plant the way you wire a precision instrument.
The calls for side work never stopped. He formed 310 Construction LLC, the calls kept growing, and he finally went full-time on his own. Today every job, residential through industrial, runs through Bobby personally.
