Variable frequency drives are easy to mount. They’re much harder to get right. An improperly programmed VFD doesn’t just underperform. It can destroy the motor it’s protecting, trip on phantom faults at full load, or run a conveyor at the wrong speed profile for months before anyone notices.

Drive commissioning
Motor nameplate entry, V/Hz or vector profile selection, accel/decel ramp setup, overload and fault configuration. Commissioned to the motor’s actual load profile, not factory defaults.
Drive replacement
Like-for-like drive swaps or cross-brand replacements on existing applications. Parameter migration, wiring adaptation, and commissioning included.
Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis
Drive fault code analysis, wiring verification, motor insulation testing, and root-cause diagnosis on drives that are tripping, underperforming, or failing intermittently.
VFD panel builds
Drive panels built from enclosure through wiring, bypass switching, and door-mounted operator controls. Labeled, documented, and thermal-scanned at close-out.
Multi-drive applications
Systems running multiple coordinated drives, including common bus configurations and drive-to-drive speed references. Michelin plant background means real multi-drive experience.
VFDs are not a set-it-and-forget-it install.
A drive that was never commissioned properly looks fine until it doesn’t. Motor overheating from wrong slip compensation, nuisance tripping from undersized line reactors, conveyor speed drift from a default ramp profile that doesn’t match the actual inertia: these problems are invisible until they cause downtime.
The difference between a wired-up VFD and a correctly commissioned VFD is parameter setup: understanding the motor’s nameplate, the application’s speed and torque requirements, the protection thresholds that matter for the actual environment, and the fault history that tells you what the drive has already seen.
